can anyone give the suggestions to parse only the [url] for the [code]d links?
when we code links, the links are displayed as they are by removing all the formatting and if the links are long, they are not terminated.
now, when we code those links, they must be displayed as they without any truncation but they must be parsed only [url] tag as clickable links.
Just quote links instead of coding them...

[url=www.mybb.com]MyBB[/url]

Quote:MyBB
This doesn't mean of the OP btw. The OP wants to parse the links in [code]tags, as we can parse them in [quote] tags.

Right, except that links don't belong in code tags. CODE belongs in code tags. If they want the blockquote style around a URL tag they can use Quote. If there is a real reason to parse them inside the Code tags then they can request a plugin to do so in the plugins request forum.
can anyone make this into plugin?
Once again, WHY are you using Code tags? What you're asking doesn't make any sense. Maybe you should post an example.

In many forums, people post links within code tags. That's why.
Example: You can take a look at vBulletin's code tag. All links within are clickable (live)!Big Grin
theres a reason for posting them in code tags its to prevent trackback. if you make them linked it defeats the purpose of placing them there.

Once again, use the Quote tag instead.

This would defeat the purpose of a code block, no?
