Hi together,

I'v got a problem regarding the german umlauts posted within the quickreply-function.

Directly after the post the umlauts are replaced with confusing characters.
But after I reloaded the page I can see the umlauts.

Because I only own a Mac (running latest OS and Safari) I cannot verify (totay) if it's a problem regarding my OS.

Is this a known issue?

Conig:
- New installed MyBB without any Plugins
- Gentoo-Installed PHP5 with fastCGI
- MySQL running utf

Your webserver probably claims it's iso8859-1 or something when it's really utf-8.

Fix your webserver configuration, or there's an UTF-8 header plugin floating around you could try.

The headers should actually be set by MyBB really, not sure why that's not done by default.
