I've ordered what (I think) is a high-end gaming computer. I'm going to keep the specs to myself until I see your guys' opinion of "high-end". I'll let you get your opinions in, and if someone gets close I'll spill. (PS: It's not Alienware.)
If you've got an intel i7 920 or higher and a gfx 5850 or higher or GTX 460 or higher then yes, it's a high-end gaming rig.
..Curse you. i7 950 and a GTX 580 1.5GB EVGA Superclocked. And 6GB RAM.
Hanging around OCN you pick up various stuff Wink
I am currently using a 450mhz pentium 2 computer Sad

a 2.8 Ghz pentium 4 is high-end Toungue
Nice but i7-950 is a waste of money. The Core i5-760 is $100 less and has the same gaming performance. Also Sandy Bridge is just around the corner as well as the Radeon HD 6950/6970/6990 so now isn't the best time to get a gaming PC =/

Anyways nice PC assuming you paid less than $2000 for it.

Falcon Northwest?

If you can get an i5 760 for $100 (USD?), then you must have access to resources most people don't have.
I assume he means $100 less Smile
Sorry yeah I meant $100 less. Fixed.

You can get it for $170 here.
I have a Core 2 Quad 3GHZ, 3GB RAM with Windows 7 Professional for a gaming computer, works great. Probably going to upgrade my RAM though.
