Full Version: complete forum backup?

i want to shift my forum from one windows hosting to another, how can i take the complete backup of whole forum, and the retrieve the backup to another hosting.

that's for the database, which also includes a link to how to restore it.

then just make sure you download all the forum files and re-upload them on the new host.
You backup files via FTP or form the command line.

You can backup the MySQL database via command line Smile
i took the complete backup of forum from ftp and uploaded another domain, the other domain is also in same ip where my previous domain is. so i hope there is no need to change the config file.
my actual problem is whenever i open new domain its shows internal 500 error.

If it is a different domain you will have to edit the config file in order to switch to the new domain.

for the domain, switch it in settings.php
