When Mybb went to .com they need to pay about 3000$ how i remember. Never mind for real price.
But .com domain is 10$, why they need to pay 3000$?
Btw i am not saying they want to earn bla bla just asking for the info 
because someone else already owned the domain, they weren't buying it from a domain registrar.

It was bought and they didn't even intend on using it for anything; if I remember correctly they originally wanted 10K or something stupid but labrocca managed to knock them down to 3.

I think it was about 16k to begin with, then they lowered to 10k and said that was re final price. Then labrocca persuaded them to got to 3k
