MyBB Community Forums

First off I am new to Mybb and just set it up on my new site http://www.OnliveInformer.com and would like to display the 10 newest forum posts from within Mybb to the sidebar using a widget in wordpress.

Im not 100% sure if I need to enable to tell mybb which forums should be syndicated through the control panel or anything, but I found this link.

When you go here it shows the page to select forums etc Latest Thread Syndication (RSS) however none of my forums are listed. Just syndicate all forums, my category, and my forum (defaults?) as I have many more and none of these listed on my sites forum.

I tried using all the forums but nothing appears just a blank page. can someone please tell me how to syndicate RSS feeds for my forums so I can generate a valid RSS feed for my use?

when i go to your forum home page, those are the only category and forum I see. either you did not activate them, or you set the permissions such that guests can not view them

how DO I activate them? im new sorry!

ACP > Forums and Posts > Forum Management

For each forum, select Edit Forum from the drop down menu on the right and scroll down to be sure the Forum Is Active and Forum is Open are checked.

Also be sure the permissions for the forums are set to what you want

Yep both of those are checked and guests can view the forum no problem. However when using that link above Nothing shows up.

your forum link is to \forum-4\, if i use that it all works fine.

yeah I mentioned this in another post I had- Had do I make it not forum-4 Im not sure how that got there since there is no directory called forum-4

i have no idea, you should ask support staff to look into it. you will likely need to give them temp access toyour setup

not a problem I just need to resolve this for SEO and other reasons! How do I get in touch with them?
