You'd need an iPhone app to do that... unless you mean something other than an email.

If you are talking about email there is already a built in system in the iphone which allows you to connect to your email.
Are you talk about text-messages?
If you mean posts/messages etc on the forum, it would need an app, and I don't think there are any to do this. The user could always just use Internet on the phone...?
The user could subscribe to threads and then use an email address that is pushed to their iPhone, alternatively this might interest you:
