Hello there.

I want to move my forum in a another directory of my host.
My forum is now @ www.tsisonline.be/forum but i want my forum @ www.tsisonline.be.

Is it easily replace the whole forum directory or must i have backup the database?
So yes, how must i do it?

Well no just move them.
Later you will have to edit the board url and the cookies domain and path in the settings.

You can redirect your homepage :

<META http-EQUIV="Refresh" CONTENT="0; url=http://www.tsisonline.be/forum">

In an "index.htm".
Put this file at the root of your folder.

When you'll go on www.tsisonline.be you'll be redirected to www.tsisonline.be/forum .

that wont help, because you will not be able to login anymore due to the unproper cookie settings .
so it is better just to move, and redo the settings.

Don't give out faulty info now then, redirect is perfectly safe.
