I kind of agree, go with a host that doesn't use multiforums. Not to say they are bad or anything, but i would much rather prefer non multiforums based forums.

There are plenty of free hosts where you can get a semi-decent domain (something.somethingshort.com). Also, if you can't make a good theme, or afford a custom one, use the mods databse.

Also, get a domain. Globat offers them for less than $5 usd. If you can't afford that, you probably shouldn't be making sites.
