Our forum had hotlinked to some pictures in the past. Well, the server decided to put pornographic images in their place so we deleted the link off of our forum to get rid of that junk.

Is there a way to disable hotlinking on our forum? We have an inhouse File Uploader to upload graphics to and use.
What I can understand from your 3 line is this:-

"just remove their link, what else. from your forum."

If the user posted a picture that used to be clean and now isn't, I would have to edit their post and take the picture off. But we have had this happen at least 10 times in the last year - and that doesn't look good on a Christian forum.
Yes, you have to do this manually or you can ask your mod. to make your work bit easier but than you have to remove these pictures manually.
I am an Administrator. That is why I was checking.

Wonder if there is a .htaccess code or something that doesn't allow [IMG] tags lines unless they are from a specific folder - which we have a specific folder for the File Uploader.

??? - just thinking outloud. Any suggestions?
There can be someway i guess by which you can disable [img] tag but than this wll disable completly and chances are there you might have few other problem associated with it. So My recommendation, Do it manually to be on safer side.
Is it always the same site that the images come from?
No, it is different sites. For example, there is a game called Counting to 1611. You basically post a picture with a 1 for Post #1, 2 for Post #2, 3 for Post #3, etc. This is where we found most of them - from different places. We are up to like picture 700 or so and had 6 BAD pictures show up. I know it's not very many, but that's TOO many for our taste.
If you are using cPanel (for the site control panel) then you can go to Hotlink Protect and set up the stuff there (Make sure to let your forum images through!)
Is this in my hosting company's cpanel or the board's admin cp?
