Since doing the update to 1.6 has the 1.6.1 when I go to my forum I get an error

Fatal error: Call to undefined function iif() in /home/scooterc/public_html/forum/global.php(500) : eval()'d code on line 20

You have an error in your header template, looks like you've tried to put some PHP in there but iif() isn't a function.
