Thread title pretty much explains it.
When I mark a forum read, the icon stays the same. Only when I refresh does the icon then change.
Any idea what could cause this?

If its change after Refreshing, then its a browser issue. try to clear your cahce.

Just tried in Chrome also, no luck. :/
Replaced forumdisplay.php file with original, as well as all jscript files.
No luck there either.
No need to replace the files though.

I've just checked in 3 browsers (Firefox , Chrome and Opera) are all working fine.

Try clearing your cookies. I believe that's where it stores the data about things being read and the Mark as Read function may just fail to delete it.
Erased everything from my browser and reloaded it. No luck.
Just installed Opera as well.
Still doesn't work... But they all work for you. I don't get it .. lol
Are you using 1.6.0 or 1.6.1?? This bug was fixed in the new version.
