Hi,

Anyone have an idea on this? My forum is just starting out (only a handful of posts), looks to be getting indexed in search engines, and I am U.S. based. About 30 or so people have registered, all with an @yahoo.co.uk email address. None have posted anything. It seems it cant just be a coincidence that everyone uses the same email provider, so I have to assume it's some type of spam... but what's their intent? I cant imagine what they could possibly be doing if none are posting anything. Huh

Ideas?

Might be all of those users are spam registrations. Try to install Re-Capctha plugin for better security against spam: http://mods.mybb.com/view/recaptcha

Yeah, I'm using Re-Captcha (v. 1.4 which is the latest release). That seems to say that they're not script sign-ups, and are probably human. That's the part that confuses me most... what can these people be trying to accomplish by signing up?
