Hiya, I'm thinking of using myBB for an existing message board powered by XMB, and wondered if there are any convertor tools available? The XMB board is heavily hacked and modded, though...

There are currently no converters made. It is what we have planned for the future, but isn't at the top of our priorities list.

We're building a set of API's and scripts which will assist in the development of converters. Basically there will be modules for boards that can be converted and inside those modules are modules which perform actions (such as import users etc).

Some of our members have made something themselves: Lobster for example has made a phpBB converter (see phpBB -> MyBB Converter). An XMB converter has been suggested before, but not been made yet.

Thanks - and, yup, obviosly it's the users that we're most interested in importing.

Seeing as how DevBB is XMB's superior but younger brother, wouldn't a DevBB converter work if someone developed one?

Usually it would only work the other way round... an XMB converter may well convert DevBB.
