No, you don't need to revert "Header" template.

Oops, I think it goes into those templates. Sorry.
Might you know which section i can find the "Headerinclude" template? And would just reuploading the theme fix the header?
ACP > Temlates > Un-grouped Templates > headerinclude

My last question would be if i reverted the "header" template how can i revert it to the stage it was at prior. Kinda like a re-revert. If that makes any sense..
Open header template and remove all code.

Now Open .XML file of that theme and find;

<template name="header" version="1413">

or something like that, and copy all the code within the <template></template> tags and paste them to the header template. But please don't copy
