Sorry about that but it turned out that i upgraded incorrectly and that's what the problem was.
When i press the home button it takes me to the blog now. although i had a plugin installed that was called Custom Pages (1.0)

so that might have something to do with it because that plugin does not work anymore.
Oh wait no i got it fixed now.
