I just read an interested FAQ from ICANN about gTLDs (Generic Top Level Domains such as .info, .museum, .biz, .name, .net, .com, etc...).

Application fee: $185,000 (+ additional processing costs)
Yearly fee: $25,000
Per domain transaction fee: $0.20

Pretty damn cheap considering you can double your investment very quickly.

So if you have a spare $220,000 go ahead and do it .

Well considering the maximum number of root nameservers is 13 and 13 (clusters) are in use... nope.

.museum, I've never heard of that.

Its a great offer BTW, but if you've XXXXX money
