hmm ive tried the different hook , still wont work.

Try this:

if ((in_array($gid,$xgid, TRUE) || in_array($user,$xuser)) && in_array($fid,$xfid))

Tried that just now , still doesnt work.

Can you post the actual settings data you have entered for the users and usergroups in your plugin?
