If you can access AdminCP , then its easy to search the user with his / her username and find IP.

http://xserverx.com/forums/modcp.php?action=ipsearch

Change to http://domain.cim/forums/ to your forum's base url. Then use that to search IP.

Or if you don't even know how to do that. Login, go to Mod CP, then click the IP Search button. Use that to search by IP.

The point is, User didn't posted, and by default its unable to find the user who didn't posted right from the "ModCP". However you may search this same from ACP.

Actually that's a good idea, and I was one time thinking of the same thing to develop a plugin like that. If you like, you may request this here: http://yaldaram.com/forumdisplay.php?fid=3 so I may take this idea in my TODO list.
