I assumed he'd be wanting to add his code right after the user is added to the users table, so the variable would still be available there.

that is my assumption as well,but he was no clear about it, so I wanted to make sure he was aware, just in case.
Sorry for the confusion, yes I will be using that to execute an addition query right after $this->uid to insert the user into the website portion of my site.
