HijackThis is now outdated and a new tool called "OTL (OldTimer List-it) is used.

Please note that a maximum of two links are permitted in your post.
4 times isn't necessary, we get what the link is.

OTL is like HJT but OTL lists more about the system, making malware removal much easier.
Example OTL log: http://www.pastie.org/1416440
Example HJT log: http://pastebin.com/k99Tek0M
As you can see, OTL is much more detailed.

It would be nice to know what "qualifications" your "helpers" have. Your opening post here is a little misleading since there are a great many forums that offer "free" malware etc. help, and many of them have a lot more experience as in giving years of service.
Also one of the forums states this....
The forum itself contains many many tutorials to help folks remove the bad stuff themselves....Doesn't that make your "help" forums redundant?
Also one of the forums states this....
Quote:Tutorials, Guides, & Self-Help
Learn how to remove malware yourself.

There is nothing like a qualification to help others. A person doesn't meant to have a lot of knowledge if he is on a great site like Wilders Security, and in the same way, a person doesn't meant to have less knowledge if he is running a small site.
Personally i believe you mock at him by quoting the word helpers.
