We could got days fighting about good hosts there are tons of them and some don't always stay good or have consistent records. Like Host Gator is well respected and a known good host but also known to oversell which is why it really ends up depending on the server you end up on.
I can name a few myself but honestly I usually don't return to hosts that I know are good for some reason

No it wasn't. That was the speed of my site when using HDWEBPROVIDER.
www.hostgator.com is what I use.
