is for as i've not seen it used on any forum powered by mybb yet.
It appears if you have Akismet enabled. If it isn't enabled and has no API Key set, this button will not appear.
Thanks and what is it for do users click it to mark a post as spam or something similar.
This will work similar to the report button. The post where its clicked, is marked as spam.
The data will be sent to Akismet.
Ok thanks all i just wondered as its not used very often.
Only mods will see it, not all users, which is why you don't see it anywhere.

Thanks but i've not seen the button on my forum and was just wondering what or how it was used.
I think when you activate "Akismet" plugin, then you'll be able to view the button on postbit. I'm not sure though as I didn't used at all.
I'm sure thats the case and no i don't use that mod either hence why i've never seen it.
