how add google adsense in first thread or in the last thread

You can do it manually, but you should download this plugin: http://www.mybbcentral.com/thread-1616.html

It's awesome, and all you need to do is enter the codes. You can even specify which usergroups you would like it to show to.

but this for version 1.4
and i use 1.6.1

It still works perfectly with 1.6.1 - edit the plugin and find where it says 'compatibility' simply change 14* to 16*.
