I'm trying to import a forum with 105k posts, yet it always stops at importing 1,500 posts. The settings are all right, works with threads, users, forums etc.

If you're doing the exact same thing as you did while importing other databases then it must mean that the database is stuffed up? o.o

It's not the database, I've tested it and it works just fine.

Are you using OpenDNS or Google Public DNS?... then disable it for a while...

DNS settings are specified in the TCP/IP Properties
Tick > Obtain DNS Server Address Automatically.

Turn off the setting at the start of the merge for converting to utf8, then convert again (revert the MyBB board to a pre-merge backup first)
