When subscribed to a thread I get emails with these characters in the "from" field instead of the board name. Something I missed during install?

Are you using SMTP or PHP??
Do you have anything set for Admin Email o Return Email under Admincp >> Settings >> General Configuration?
Using the default PHP Mail setting an a shared Hostgator account.
I do have an email address set for the admin & return email address.
- Check the file verification tool in admicp>tools and verify all your files are ok (install and some images giving errors is ok)
- Check that you do not have any plugins interfering with the email system of your board
If the above is ok then you need to check with your host or your php.ini for a from field override.
