Hey,

sorry for my bad english, it's not my native language

I'm thinking about writing a new Portal for MyBB, like the ProPortal.

The standart Mybb portal is, in my eyes, not as extendable as a good portal should be.
The best alternative is the ProPortal. There are no Problems with new MyBB versions yet, but since DragonFever stopped the development i'm sure that there will be some problems in later releases of MyBB.

Now i want to develope a new MyBB Portal, and looking for ideas

My first ideas:
- (unlimited) shoutboxes, for example a user and a team shoutbox
- the users are able to change to positions of the boxes
- automatic updates of the thread-list in the portal
- improved mini-calendar
etc...

What would be your wishes? Or you think it's a totally stupid idea?

I love ProPortal, but I would also love to see a new version that is supported.

As far as features, everything ProPortal has plus more control over boxes and columns would be nice. Also, lots of available portal plugins would be fun too!

I suggest to add custom latest thread (from certain forum) for the center block.

I think a better integration for existing plugins would also be nice, i'll think about a good way to integrate.
