I am a little bi confused about permissions
1- If a user belongs to a Primary Group A and a Secondary group B,
If by vertue of Primary Group A he cant read a forum, and by vertue of Secondary group B he can
Which setting will take effect? and what about the opposite case? Group A he can / Secondary group B he cant

2- Now I want to set a group promotion, but there is setting for:
Original User Group *
Select which user group or user groups that the user must be in for the promotion to run. Holding down CTRL selects multiple groups.

Deos this setting related to primary or secondary group or both?

1. A yes overrides a no. If their primary group or one of their additional usergroups has permission to do something, they'll have permission to do it.

2. Just primary.
