Of late I am seeing forum profile spam

Is it possible to suspend new members' bio area ad signature for say first 7 days. Normally we see spammers are impatient and want to fill garbage in their profile as soon as they sign up.

if this functionality already exists or if it is possible through some plugin please let me know.

Ok. So do we have any plugin(/or may be one under development) which can accomplish the same?

I currently have a plugin that you could use , it stop members accessing usercp until they have a X post count, therefore blocking them editing there bio etc.....
