Hey guys,
I recently restored a MyBB 1.4 backup and updated it to 1.6. Now each time I access the admincp such as themes, forums, etc, I need to re-logging in. And apparently, I can't save any settings et cetera.
Help?
I'm having a similar or the same issue. I updated to 1.6.3 last night, now anything I choose on the ACP asks me to log in again. I checked the cookie path, deleted cookies, etc.
The forum works fine, it's just in the ACP that I have to log in with everything I click
EDIT: Well, I said the forum works fine - but that's a lie, I just logged in there again - said I was successful, but then says Hello There, Guest! on the next screen.
EDIT #2: more info - changes made in the ACP are not being saved. I have deleted the settings.php file and it recreated, deleted all cookies for the site again

I think I have solved this issue - at least so far. I just kept tinkering with it - the fix was to change the forums address from
http://forums.nxnwsoftware.com to
http://nxnwsoftware.com/forums/
Also changed the cookie path from .forums.nxnwsoftware.com and / to .nxnwsoftware.com and /forums/
