You just replace the images found in ./images/english, with your own.

And Where is that located?
on your server, in the root folder of mybb files, you will find the images directory inside it find another folder called english !

Okay, I just tried that. But, It's not working.
are u using some theme that has its own images folder?
ok then you have been looking at a theme that uses a different folder.
for that reason, please check your current theme's images directory from the the theme manager.and just replace the files where it says its images are.
