It's not affiliated with the MyBB Group but if you're worried Imad is a very well known and respected member. Personally I would like to see the site get used a little more especially by the people who only have one or two paid themes.
I've actually registered and will probably start releasing themes there.
Who ever made mybb forums has lots of money and is realyl nice to offer it for free.
