Hi all
im new to mybb. so far i liked it. i've installed new version of mybb 1.6 recently and in my signup page ( member.php ) in email input area appears some weird codes everytime a click on new registration..

dont know what they are and how they got here... may be someone there will be able to assist me what they are..thnx a bunch in advance.

here are codes that appear in the email area:

Go to: ACP > Templates > Member Templates > member_register > and find;

<td><input type="text" class="textbox" name="email" id="email" style="width: 100%" maxlength="50" value="{$email}" /></td>

Is it properly written in there ? especially {$email} ??

yes they looks fine as you mentioned..what else it could be...??

installed akimset or other signup security plugins?
disable them one by one and check

aha...right ..you are right....one of the security plugins creates that issue...
