i search the forum ,but do not find the answer,though there should be .

1;new install mybb1.61.
my site: www.xxxx.com (operated by wordpress),mybb1.61 install in forum.xxxx.com
2:already Rename htaccess.txt to .htaccess .
3:Admin CP-Board Settings-Server and Optimization Options-Enable search engine friendly URLs set to Automatic Detection or enabled
click any forum,url like http://forum.xxxx.com/forum-1.html, show Not Found
only enable disable ,url show like http://forum.xxxx.com/forumdisplay.php?fid=2
,page can be shown ,but not friendly URLs like.
how could i edit the htaccess or others. to enable friendly urls like .

Oh sorry, I didn't noticed that you didn't installed http://mods.mybb.com/view/google-seo < Install this plugin.
mod_rewrite needs to be enabled on the server for you to make use of the url rewriting. If you've enabled seo urls, renamed htaccess and it still doesn't work then check with your host, they may have disabled the use of htaccess or access to mod_rewrite.
if your MyBB supplied htaccess file located in the \forums folder with the rest of the forum files, or is it in your root folder?

it should be with the forum files and not in the root
