How narrow can you get this forum down to without it starting to look not so nice? Think one could get away with 760px?
760px isn't the minimum. I saw good looking forums with a smaller width. I think, however, that a forum should be wider than 700. It's just a matter of tastes.
You can go as small as you want, really. You'll have to shuffle some things around but it's possible.
