MyBB Community Forums

Hello!

I'm trying to create a MyBB forum on my site. I've uploaded all the files, and have followed the directions on the MyBB wiki step by step: http://wiki.mybb.com/index.php/Installing

I installed everything in a folder called "forums", but when I go to the install link (sweetcharm.net/forums/install/) i get a 505 error. Any idea what's going on?

Maybe some of the permission aren't right? I thought I made everything as instructed...........

You'll need to ask your host about this, there's no reason it should be giving a 500 error straight out of the box. Have you got a .htaccess file in the forum root?? What are the files/folders CHMOD to?? Check the server error log to see if there's any information there.

Any error that starts with a "5" is a server error. Contact your web host.
