Does banning a user mean that it bans just that account or will it ban there email, username and ip?

Just wondering as have banned a few users for spam and also added there email and ip to banned list but wondered if i actually needed to do that or banning that user was fine.

It will ban their username and email, not their IP address unless you specifically ban the IP itself.

ok so no mater who tried to register with that email or user name it would not work?

I wish there was a checkbox when you ban the user that says "Also ban IP?" when you ban a user...it would save time instead of manually doing it.

I don't think it'll actually ban their email, but by default email addresses can only be used once anyway so it can't be used again.
