I changed them to PNG on my forum, but now when there is a new post in a forum, the forum does not use the 'on.png', it stays at 'off.png'.

It works fine for guests though, I don't know what the problem is.

And yes, I did change the extensions in /jscripts/general.js to png
I did edit the index template, forumbit_depth2_forum, and forumbit_depth2_cat

This has bugged me too. The next version should have all transparent PNGs. I would head up the conversion of all of the default icons, even.

Thanks for replying. I might have to resort to using crappy GIFs I suppose, and undo all of my changes. I'll wait to see if someone else has a solution though.

Thank you too for the reply. I have done all of this though, and I am still left with the problem.

Do you use cpanel because you can simply rename it in cpanel or ftp such as filezilla and it will switch to gif but keep transparency. I always used to do this.
