edit
oops.. forgot to prevent it from viewing the staff board.

theres nothing there yet anyhow Toungue
wow thats alot of forums, as an expert on running forum, i recomend you lose some of the forum section, perhaps merge some, delete ones that will be not as active then when the forum grows with automatic discussion where you dont have to create it, then you can create more forum so the members can explor it, which i guess you could say will give the discussion an extra boost because of the new forums Wink if you need anymore tips on being an admin feel free to visit our site www.adminstop.net
you might be an expert on forums, but im an expert on simplified discussion systems.

each section handles a different range of hardware and software., meaning that things won't be as complex and complicated, as some of the larger (30,000+ members) sites have.

some sites come to mind that i won't voice here, but they had motherboard drivers being posted in a video card section :|

hence why this forum is SOOOOOOO BIG.
i'd rather separate everything into a different catagory then end up with a jumbled mess of things
how did you center your logo and links
Well I for one would put the gamming aspects of the site right at the start. What would you rather read about? A console or people flamming each other?
its gaming all around, and most of the bestgaming is done on computers so thats at the start.

and the general community section is usually the first port of call when checking up the latest news coz thats where it all happens.

lol.

hmm. everyone else is saying the layout is perfect....

wow.. you know.. i can't freakin remember how i did that...

i know i asked how here though...

errr.. its in templates....somewhere....

found it

look for

<div class="logo"><a href="$settings[bburl]/index.php"><img src="$theme[logo]" alt="$settings[bbname]" border="0" /></a></div>

in header templates and wrap <center></center> around it so it looks like this

<center><div class="logo"><a href="$settings[bburl]/index.php"><img src="$theme[logo]" alt="$settings[bbname]" border="0" /></a></div></center>
the logo works, but how do i get the menu centered
Go to the settings of your theme in your Admin-CP and search for
text-align: right;
in the box for the toplinks menu. Change it to:
text-align: center;
