It took around 24 hours to import 160,000 users. I have not yet begun the process of importing 2,000,000 posts. Unfortunately, I will be traveling soon and will not be able to complete this process in a single sitting.

Is it ok if I exit out of the merge system and resume the process at a later date? Can I simply run yoursite.com/forum/convert again to resume the process?

You would have to use the svn trunk version for this. The current release does not support stopping and resuming in the middle. My apologies.
