I have {$teradonate_donatelink} in my header so that I can link to the donation page. Instead of removing it and adding a <li><a href="link">donate</a></li> I would like to leave it. Where can I go to edit it?

I believe its i your global templates.

Go to: ACP > Templates > Global Templates > and check which template is called by "donate link".
