Hi,
Just was reading another thread and they said to get a header banner above your forum go Admin>Templates>Modify then expand the template you want to edit.

When i press expand i get this error.

mySQL error: 1104
The SELECT would examine more than MAX_JOIN_SIZE rows; check your WHERE and use SET SQL_BIG_SELECTS=1 or SET SQL_MAX_JOIN_SIZE=# if the SELECT is okay
Query: SELECT t1.* FROM mybb_templates t1 LEFT JOIN mybb_templates t2 ON (t1.title=t2.title AND t2.sid='-2') WHERE t1.sid='1' AND ISNULL(t2.template) ORDER BY t1.title ASC

Can anyone help, I need this urgent as I have come to this board from another one becuase this looks better and I want to get it live again.

From the error, it appears to be an issue with MySQL's internal settings, not MyBB. You should report this to your webhost, ASAP.

This page tells you what to do (if you have access to the MySQL controls)

I dont think he has permissions to do these changes.

Thanks for that, thats the error for sure but i dnt think i have permissions no.

I have attached an image of my MySQL CP, can you direct me what to do next?

That is phpMyAdmin which is the wrong place. You should contact your host. Explain your problem and send a link to this thread.

Ok thatnks, do you know weather you can access a MySQL panel or would i have to contact my host?

If you use a shared hosting package you won't have access to MySQL panel at all. So it's up to your host.

Ok I have sent a email pointing them to this post.

Also is there any other way to edit the top of my forum,
