Ok so I just edited the .htaccess file and the functions.php and now when I click on anything it shows the new url but an error page of my host shows up so I can't do anything. What do I do?

Does 000webhost allow mod-rewrite enable ?

try adding RewriteBase if you don't have it already

In .htaccess, find:
RewriteEngine on

Add after:
RewriteBase /
