When there is a * next to a users name on the online users list?

Thanks in advance...

They are hidden from view and will appear offline at all times unless permissions allow groups to see them.
UserCP > Edit Options > Hide me from the Who's Online list.

I am trying to find out if there is a way to turn off that option, and not let people be able to do that... Is there a way?

Admin panel > Templates & Style > Templates > Your Theme > User Control Panel Options > usercp_options

Remove that.

You'll find the same code in the member_register too, also remove.
