I have installed mybb version on my forum and uploaded the backup but it doesn't work. The forum didn't change. Should I do something more?

No, I just want to put my forum like it was before.
If you look at the backup file, does it contain queries to actually insert the data back in again...?? Email it to me at matt [dot] rogowski [at] mybb [dot] com and I'll have a look at it.
I've imported the backup to a test database on my localhost and it's imported OK, and is full of data, are you sure you've imported it to the same database that your ./inc/config.php file is set up for??
