How can you set it so people subscribe to threads by default and they physically have to untick it - cannot remember thanks

Default Thread Subscription Mode: **select from dropdown**
or are you looking for a setting to force ALL users to be subscribed?
I know that bit, but how do you do it in the admin panel so every user is subscribed by default?
