It's a bug in the SEO Links plugin, it's not compatible to MyBB 1.6

it is compatible I guess,am running google seo on mybb 1.6.1 too very smoothly!

Just you may have to re-upload the edited function.php provided by frostchutz on his seo thread relating to version 1.6x if you just upgraded from 1.4x series

Google SEO is compatible with MyBB 1.6, but the OP is using a different SEO plugin that hasn't been updated in years.
