OK, should be fixed now... I noticed settings.php was CHMOD to 644 so I set that to 666... when I opened it up it had the old settings in it; put the correct ones in, saved, made the changes again in the ACP and it saved and kept me logged in. Should be working again, you might need to clear your browser cookies to get it to update the cookies in your browser though.
