I was thinking, is it possible (by efault or via some nifty plugin) to set up a tech-support/bugtrack forum where Users are allowed to create threads but only see ones that they created. Assigned moderators, however, are allowed their usual rights and can see all threads there.
The purpose is simple - not to make all reported bugs public by default. I've seen something like this before but can't even remember the website, let alone it's engine.
tl;dr: Forum mode so that users can create new threads but can only see their own threads.
