Hey, it's been a while since I've been here.

Anyway, I was wondering how many lines I would have to change and where, approximately at least, if I were to change index.php to forum.php so that I could have a different index.php.

Just rename it and change your themes templates that relate to index.php to forum.php

Off the top of my head, rename index.php to forum.php. Edit the file and change the line that says define(THIS_SCRIPT, "index.php") to forum.php

If you have any links in your forum header that specifically point to index.php change those as well.
